Halara Turns Customers Into Product Testers
Halara, the activewear company that went viral a few years ago for their Active Dress, launched last fall “Halara Circle”, a new customer loyalty program that offers customers free product in exchange for honest product reviews and feedback. 5,000 customers will participate in this program monthly and are expected to answer a product survey that evaluates the style, fabric, functionality, and design features of the free product they have been sent. Participants are selected from a pool of customers who have purchased Halara goods either from their website, their TikTok shop, or Instagram, and key influencers have been giving special codes to share with their followers, if they wish to participate in the program and have never shopped the brand before.
By getting customers involved in R&D, Halara is able to compile crucial information on product fit, fabric, and functionality and shares a report to Halara Circle participants to inform them on how their feedback will will shape future product development. If a product is updated, Halara will tie the changes to the original customer input to highlight how their feedback directly influenced product design.
