Kate Spade is Coming to Target US

Target US is launching a limited-edition collection with Kate Spade on April 12th. The range will span across different categories and have 300 different SKUs as part of the collection, and over 50% of the products are sold at USD 15 or less. Target’s chief merchant. Jill Sando, says the collection has been under development over the last two years, but the response to this launch was tepid at best. Jane Hali, CEO of investment research firm Jane Hali & Associates, stresses that the partnership is unlikely to make an impact on Target’s downward sales trajectory, or even on Kate Spade’s sales and branding.

Kate Spade has also been struggling with declining sales, and recent partnerships have fallen flat. For the 2024 holiday season, Kate Spade collaborated with Eloquii, the plus-sized fashion brand, on a curated collection of evening and partywear
