Nike and Skims Are Launching a New Activewear Brand

In an effort to expand its share in the women’s market, Nike and Skims have partnered to launch this spring a new activewear brand under the name of NikeSkims. Global expansion for the brand is planned for 2026 and will be available in extended sizing. The product range will include apparel, footwear, and accessories.

NikeSkims is the perfect vehicle for Nike to further its efforts to grow its women’s activewear category, as well as to offset declining sales in North America. Their Super Bowl ad featuring top female athletes shows how focused the brand is in pursuing the category, and highlights the rising popularity with women’s sports in the mainstream.
