Key US Retailers Used the Pandemic to Increase their Profits

Upon the publication of the “Feeding America in the Time of Crisis report” by the FTC, The National Grocers Association came forward and stated, at the height of the pandemic, key retailers had abused their power by further inflating their prices and increase their profits.

The FTC claims that the following 9 retailers and CPG companies were the most salient examples of this trend: Walmart, Amazon, Kroger, C&S Wholesale Grocers, Procter & Gamble, Tyson Foods, Kraft Heinz, Mclane & Co, and Associated Wholesale Grocers.
