Aritzia Reports Strong Growth

Artizia shows strong growth in revenue and profitability during Q2-2025. Net revenue for the quarter was CA 615.7 million, a robust 15.3% YoY increase driven mostly by US growth. Revenue in the US market rose by almost 24% in the same quarter, netting sales for CA 345 million, and making the US its largest market. New store openings and e-commerce fueled the Canadian retailers expansion.

More importantly, Aritzia’s profits were equally robust, going from a loss of CA 6 million in Q2-2024 to a profit of CA 18 million this year, and its gross profit margin rose from 35% the year before to 40.2% in the same quarter of the current fiscal year. Cost control efforts, reduced markdowns, and better inventory management have been key in driving profitability.

Despite the strong quarter, the retailer is lowering its full-year forecast expecting citing a more challenging retail environment in its home country.
